Business Trip to Iran in July 2007
Impressions of Tehran and Karaj
In July 2007 I had an installation job of a single chocolate depositor in Karaj, Iran. A place I definately did not expect they do Chocolates! With mixed feelings I travelled to Tehran, and I was really curious how this city is going to look like. And it absolutely surprised me... Kind people, good food and a fascinating city!
Tehran is the capital city of Iran and the largest city in the Middle East. It is famous for its numerous ski resorts on the Alborz slopes, large museums, art centers and palace complexes.
Most Iranian industries are headquartered in Tehran. The industries include the manufacturing of automobiles, electrical equipment, military weaponry, textiles, sugar, cement, and chemical products. It is also a leading center for the sale of carpets and furniture.
Just a few more snapshots I took when I was on the way to Ghuflunkoh Chocolates in Karaj, about 20km west of Tehran.
