Business Trip to China in July 2009
Jinjiang / Quanzhou, Fujian Province
At work in China
My wish came true! After working for so many years in the field, I finally made it for the first time to the exciting "Peoples Republic of China" for an installation and commissioning job of one of our first chocolate depositors on chinese mainland. Thanks to Allan for the intense and unforgettable time!
Jinjiang City, Fujian
Wow... I was blown away! The incredibly noisy scenery of the pulsing life on the streets of central JinJiang City with its colourful lighted shopping mile must be every womans biggest dream, since JinJiang City is also called the "Shoe Capital" of China. All I can say is "Shop 'til you drop!" :-)
Mount Qingyuan in Quanzhou, Fujian
For the weekend our representative agent in China organized a little sightseen tour up to the Mount Qingyuan National Park in Quanzhou, about 15km north of Jinjiang city. Mount Qingyuan has been famous since the Tang dynasty and dates back 221-207 before the common era.
Kaiyuan Temple in Quanzhou, Fujian
The "Kaiyuan Temple" in Quanzhou is the largest temple in Fujian Province and was built in 685. The two pagodas called "Zhenguo" and "Renshou" with its forty meters height are the tallest twin pagodas in China. They are the unique symbol of the ancient city of Quanzhou.
