My very first weekend in Fort Wayne I decided to do a day trip to Indianapolis, 150miles south of Fort Wayne. Final destination was the Hall of Fame and the Louis Chevrolet Memorial at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, one of the oldest remaining race tracks in the world!

Back from Indianapolis I decided for Sunday to do a short trip to Auburn, which is 20miles north of Fort Wayne. Final destination was the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum, in the building of the former production plant of the Duesenberg Automobile Company, built in 1929-1930.

While I was still waiting on the arrival of my machines coming from Chicago I needed to take a day off, which was perfect to explore Fort Wayne that day. After a Christmas shopping at the local Mall and stopping by at Kelley Chevrolet, I completed my day with the visit of the Corvette Classics Museum!

The day after the ice storm, which hit Fort Wayne in the night of December 19th 2008, my customer of "De Brand Fine Chocolates" took me for a short ride to see the beautiful nature. It looked absolutely amazing how all the bushes and trees where completly covered in ice!
