Guadalajara / Zapopan
Los Arcos Guadalajara
Guadalajara, Jalisco
The first weekend in Guadalajara my collegue and I decided to explore the center of the city with it's rich variety of architectural styles, ranging from the baroque to the modern. The city's colonial architecture is a product of French and Spanish trends that were current in Europe at that time.

Basilica of Zapopan
Zapopan, Jalisco
"I haven't been to Zapopan, if I haven't been to the Basilica...", that's what locals told to me, since I worked in this part of the Guadalajara metropolitan area. The basilica is one of the most visited sanctuaries in Western Mexico and it preserves a wooden Virgin which came from Spain in the 16th century.

Cars in Mexico
The street scene in Mexico has a strong influence of the american automobile culture as like heavy trucks, pickups and classic muscle cars and so on. Except this one... the all German Volkswagen Beetle, which is also called "Vocho" or "Vochito", made in Mexico in the years 1967 - 2003.

Men at work
In this section you can find a few funny shots I took at work. It's just fantastic to see how people in other countries in related jobs do some great stuff under difficult circumstances, like these guys were supporting us at the installation of our machinery in a temporary "open-air" workshop!
