We are saddened by the news of your father’s death. We fondly remember the family gathering in Winterthur where my parents Bob and Lee Horn, their sons and families met your parents, you and your wife and many other family members. My father Bob Horn passed in March of 2009 and we are epithetic to your loss. Your site gives wonderful insight into your Dad and those things he loved around him.
From your family in California we send our sympathy and hope that your travels will find you in our part of the world in the near future.

Deine Homepage ist wirklich umfangreich - man bräuchte Stunden um alles zu studieren. Aufschlussreich sind die Fotos der Reisen. So erfahre ich was ich z.B. in Taiwan verpasst habe. Dass Japan und Singapur unter den Favoriten-Ländern ihren Platz haben erstaunt etwas. Witzig ist der Geburtsschein des Camaros - und bestimmt nicht der letzte..

Auch wir hatten vor ca. 7 Jahren einen 1988er Camaro Cabriolet in blau Met. Ihr seht, auch unser Herz schlägt für andere US-Cars.
Auch Motorräder lieben wir! Eine Triumph und neuerdings eine 1946er Flat Head gehören zu unseren Fortbewegungsmittelen!
Das Bild mit Cherry und Roberts Vater auf ihren Motos gefällt mir sehr gut!
Schön euch nach dem American Live, auch wieder in Chur am Fun Run angetroffen zu haben!

Rob............can't believe you came to Iowa and didn't let anyone know. Iowa City just isn't that far from Des Moines. Would have came over to meet you and show you around Iowa a little bit. Rob! AMAZING website that brought back so many many memories for me! I'm so grateful that you did this -- as the Camaro truly is a recognized American institution!
(and that picture of me -- wow -- I look so young in that picture!)
Tidbit: I laughed when I saw the Pewter Camaro "prototype 35th anniversary" -- you see, that was done to deliberately throw people off! That happened to be Ed Hamburger's (Ed is the founder and owner of SLP engineering) wife's V6 convertible -- and Dave photoshopped the stripe package on there.....it's actually taken behind a 7/eleven store -- he simply put the SLP nameplate on the rear exit to the store!
Many memories -- and I hope that those who bought the 35th have had many miles of smiles! -

built in La Salle, Quebec...not Ontario.
The 5th gen is built in Oshawa, Ontario.
