Another weekend in Fort Wayne I decided to visit the National Automotive, Truck and Toy Museum. After 3 times trying getting in there, they finally had their facilities open that sunday to see their collection of great US muscles!

In Dec. 2008, when I worked for "De Brand Chocolates" in Fort Wayne, I decided to do a weekend trip to Indianapolis to see the Hall of Fame and the Louis Chevrolet Memorial at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, one of the oldest remaining race tracks in the world!

Back from Indy I decided for Sunday to do a short trip to Auburn, which is 20miles north of Fort Wayne. Final destination was the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum, in the building of the former production plant of the Auburn Automobile Company, built in 1929-1930.

Up in Auburn I figured out that there was just another Automotive Museum with a hugh motorsports section! For the Camaro enthusiasts... It's the historic place were in Fall 2002 the last saleable Camaro got auctioned off for a winning bid of $72,500.
